Hello all first time poster I hang back in the weeds reading all the good information. I recently purchased a watch for my Dad and had to order it through Omega not a problem was told 4 weeks all good. Fast forward 5 weeks later the Omega rep is telling us now that it will be another 4 weeks but a shipment is coming from the factory in a week. However they can't or won't tell us if the watch is going to be included in the shipment. Huh? I feel like I'm on an island here maybe this is common or I'm just being a jerk customer? If anyone has had any experience like this help me not feel like Omega is putting the screws to me, lol. Thanks this board is amazing great info and great folks. BTW two Omega's in the collection 1966 Connie Pie Pan and a 40th Anniversay Bond watch.

Both watches were set the same price. I know nothing about Omegas, but at the price these seemed to be bargains so I took the plunge without doing too much research, buying on impressions rather than hard research. Whilst I loved the Black Seamaster, the assistant pointed out that the GMT would be more useful and that the classic blue would differentiate it from my
