Watchstars Awards 2015-2016: Here Are The Five Winning Watches
The winning watches of the second annual Watchstars Awards chosen by an independent panel of international experts, including WatchTime’s Joe Thompson, Norma Buchanan, and Mark Bernardo were announced this week. Omega was the biggest winner this year, capturing two of the five categories. Scroll down to see the results.Watchstars was created by Ebner Publishing Group, parent company of WatchTime and its German sister publications, Chronos and Uhren Magazin. Significantly, watch manufacturers are not permitted to submit watches to the competition: only members of the judging panel, which this year consisted of no less than 70 members, can nominate and vote on the watches. Would you trade a LMPO Limited for Dark Side of the Moon?
A colleague of mine who recently acquired a Dark Side of the Moon isn't sure if he wants to keep it. He asked me if I would be interested in trading my LMPO limited straight up for his Dark Side... i think they are both unique pieces... would you make that trade?Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
Query abt modding an Omega 'Bond' 300m Seamaster
Hi all,Got this on the 29th of Dec 2011 - an Omega 2531.80.Did not like the bracelet that came with it, and so fitted it out with a Panatime P rubber strap. With the rest of the family...Now I am wondering if I should have the dial replaced with an 'Electric Blue' Omega Seamaster dial? Anyone's done this before? Your comments will be greatly appreciated.TIA!Chye

OEM Panerai Accordion Strap on a PAM 25
Hi fellowTRF'ers thinking of swapping out the original rubbered 'Panerai' straps that came with my PAM 25 to the OEM Panerai 'Accordion straps, like those you see on the 305 (different lug measurements I know). Reason being they fit better than the original straps and clasp it comes with (I have a 7.25 wrist) and the clasp is always at the last hole and doesn't sit centre in short, the strap is too short and the next incremental rubber strap Panerai offers is too long. But my question before I go ahead with the purchase is what say you with a PAM 25 on an accordion strap? Would that be legit or sacrilege?
