New Speedy for my son
I just received my sons graduation gift, Speedy Moonwatch. Well deserved I might add. Graduated top of his class and has a job with Google post graduation! Hopefully he will be able to finish paying his own college bills ;-)Woohoo...Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Match made in heaven... Or at least in space!
I know this isn't a sunglasses forum, but I've been getting into sunglasses recently and I think I've found the perfect pair to match my Speedy pro! By the way, in case someone is gonna try to point this out, I think the astronauts were issued the gray steel frames but I liked the gold frames better...Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Regulation only?
Just got my speedmaster pro with cal 861 back from service done at an AD. After a couple of weeks the movement started to lose time, when I got it back from service it was gaining 2-3 sec/24h no matter of posistion. Now its losing time when at wrist, from 5-15 sec/.24h. Returned it to my AD and he told me after some measurements that it was running slow, but aplitude was just fine. After some regulation i was promised an accurate speedmaster. However, its still losing time! I made some measurements of my own and dial up is -6 sec/24h, dial down +4 sec/24h and crown up -4 sec/24h. All measurenets with fully wound mainspring. So, my question. Is this norma deviation after a complete service?
Objects of desire
What I started as the 'My problem' thread will be continued as 'Objects of desire'. I know this is all purely materialistic but please allow me this indulgence. The first object was a 1973 Gios Torino racing bike with full GT engraving. The second object is a Minimoog D series
Black Bay Bronze bent hand - help!
Hi. I have had my black bay bronze nearly two weeks now. It has taken me this long to notice that the minute hand is bent at the end inwards towards the dial. Should this be the case? I saw a review on watchuseek that says yes...but it is not bent on my other two black bays. If anything, the minute hand dips down a tiny bit and then up and then curves over at the end. It is definitely not flat! Can anyone please help?ThanksGlenn
