Newbie with newbie questions!! Help with AP ID
Long story short, I received this watch from a friend along with a bunch of other items that fell under the terms of 'garbage' 😳I believe it to be authentic based on the socioeconomic status of my friend, but would still like to get the advice of people that are completely immersed in this world of collecting. I personally collect things like video games, arcades, bmx bikes and skateboards.. so a $40k watch is just a little outside of my wheel house 😂!I am planning on taking the watch to a local govbergs jeweler to have it serviced, new band, battery, whatever it needs.. because I have no use for this thing and would like to maximize my profits on it. I will take more pictures of it when I get home, but wanted to get this out there and see what y'all could tell me while I'm bored at work lol! I'm also kinda afraid to even take the back off this thing because I don't want to hurt anything... but I also want to know the internal numbers.. thoughts?

AP bands plots
Hello, I had some questions in regards to AP Bands, I have a 15400 and I've been wanting to convert my bracelet to strap, I've been toying with the idea of getting the plots from AP bands, anyone have any experience with such conversion and are they good quality?? Thanks kindly...

Need help with 5167 Purchase
Hi all. First time poster in the PP section of TRF. My wife and I stopped by the local PP dealer while on vacation. They have a 5167 in stock and seem willing to deal on the watch since this is the slow season.First off, the wife gave the okay to go ahead with the purchase if I can work out a decent deal with the AD. Since this is my first PP purchase, I'm really looking for input on where I can start the negotiations. We both love this watch. It's now a must have and I would love to close the deal with the local AD before we leave to go back home. We have purchased my TT DJ from this AD in the past and other jewels for my wife, so we have a small relationship with this AD, but its been a while since we have purchased anything at this store.My collection consists of a SS GMTIIC, TT DJ and Stowa MO. I think the Aquanaut would fit in nicely with my collection and might replace the GMTIIC.Any advice, either in this thread or via PM would be greatly appreciated.Thank you!Jim

Help my blnr stopped working
I bought a brand new blnr from an AD 2weeks ago. And now it just stopped working. I've been winding it for like 5 minutes and nothing. Any advice please?Thanks TRF!
