Contrary to popular belief, Baselworld is not just a steady stream of tourbillons, chronographs, and watches that are mostly black. The show does play host to some individualists who create watches that are outside the mainstream. just as i was bored , and you mainly see the black dails, here some shots of the brown dail.... i bought this watch in the spur of the moment, and it seen hardly any wrist time, and was mosly collecting dust, however the spark jumped over and i fell in love with it... Pic's just dont seem to capture the true color but its quite stunning..

Growing collection requires better storage case

Here's the story: I have had my eye on Panerai for awhile now, but hadn't really been able to pinpoint something I really had to have. I was thinking about the 676 for awhile, as I liked several aspects of it.I liked the sandwich dial, the sunburst dial, the exhibition caseback, the small seconds dial, the crown guard and the size.Let me be more specific on size: Whenever I tried on a more traditionally sized Panerai, it always felt too large and clunky for me. I don't have large wrists. I liked the look of the large Panerai, but it always felt like it was too much. So, I thought the 676 was a fair compromise.Fast forward to Saturday, December 15th.
