Cartier Sues Apple Over Infringing iPhone App
The Wall Street Journal Online is reporting that Cartier filed a lawsuit against Apple Inc. in Manhattan on Friday claiming that a third-party iPhone app available from Apple’s App Store infringed Cartier’s trademarked designs. The app, called Fake Watch, displayed well-known watch designs on the iPhone screen. Apple quickly removed the app from their store and issued an apology, and shortly thereafter a Cartier attorney announced that the lawsuit would be withdrawn, saying that Cartier’s concerns had been addressed.
Omega Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial Watch
Vintage-inspired pieces are still very much the rage at this year's Baselworld and from Omega comes the new Omega Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial, which is based on the original Seamaster 300 from 1957. It has a 41mm case,? sapphire glass, features the distinctive broad-arrow hour hand, and is also water resistant to 300m.While its design may be based on a 57-year-old watch, the new Omega Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial is actually a technical tour de force that houses many of Omega's latest innovations. To begin, readers might have noticed the new Master Co-Axial denotation. The reason for this is to distinguish Omega's newer watches by its ability to resist magnetic fields. You see, the new Omega Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial features Omega's Master Co-Axial calibre 8400, the same used in the Aqua Terra >15,000 Gauss watch, which also means that the new Omega Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial is also capable of resisting magnetic field of up to 15,000 gauss. The calibre 8400 is also COSC-c
Vintage-Warning: No Royal Oak Content
That should scare off most...Just received this in the mail today.Stainless steel case, signs of polishing, dial slightly less than perfect. Elegant and thin, completely opposite it's new owner...Must say I have a weakness for the cushion case, although this one doesn't have a round face. Also love high-end watches that are low in demand (and therefore low priced!)Kinda have to watch the second hand move to avoid confusing it with the minute hand. But I have a feeling I'll get used to it!
21k Rotor
Hi everyone, Is there a specific reason on why Patek uses 21k gold to build their rotors? Thanks!
Betteridge does it again ....Incoming!!
Just got this today and I couldn't be happier, it blends perfectly with my small collection. So the 3 watch theory is strong (2PP and 1 Rolex) ...lol Thanks to Betteridge, keep saying it but yes Awesome Patek AD And here you go Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
