Watches NEWS
Hautlence HL-Q Watch + Videos
I would really love one of these watches - another in my "cannot afford, not even close" collection of watch desires. I can still appreciate them from afar right? The first Hautlence watches were in cases that looked like TV screens, and finally we see them in a round cased watch. You can see from the images and videos that there are many different styles that arose from the base design. If you want to click here (in French), you can see almost all of the watches in the Hautlence HL-Q collection. The timepiece begins here with the new case that is 44mm wide and has an interesting construction. I like how the lugs are applied and their cool special types of screws. Not sure about all the materials used. There are of course the gold versions (rose and perhaps white), as well as some to be in titanium or matte finished steel. The dial options are also impressive with a number of different treatments I am quite fond of looking at. As such, the dials are the most complex parts of the watch.
Louis Vuitton Tambour Mystrieuse Watch
Louis Vuitton watches always feel special. They don't release new watches too often, and when they do, they barely give any information about them - they are also quite rare. They have been playing with the Tambour case for a while, adding new designs and styles all the time. This is likely to be the "highest-end" Louis Vuitton Tambour watch of them all. My favorite is still the Louis Vuitton Tambour Diver watch. Now you might not think of Louis Vuitton as a watch maker. You'd be right in theory, but you'd be missing a major point. The LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy) Group owns several important watch brands including Zenith, Tag Heuer, and Hublot. This gives them a bit watch making asset pool to pull from. So in a sense, Louis Vuitton branded watches are not just another fashion watch. While they have been making watches for a little while, and this new Tambour Mystrieuse watch is the first in-house movement for them. Previously they pulled movements from else where. The price of
Nickname
So I know there's a lot of nicknames that I've heard of for rolex watches but I haven't really heard any for a breitling. After purchasing my super avenger I realized it could have a nickname.....captain America and since he is an avenger it goes together. Blue background, white dials and red accent writing. Any thoughts on it? Should a breitling never be given a nickname? Just a thought that popped into my head todayimage.jpg
Have I learnt anything? Opinions please
Morning folks,Having had a lucky escape, thanks to the forum and its members, I'm looking for a PO, I don't want to buy new as I want it for my daily wearer for work, I'm sure some will understand that if I buy new ill be worrying about knocking it about too much whereas a used one already with a few marks in my mind stops me worrying about that. I have a GMT that My wife bought me (new)a few years ago that I wear most of the time, scratches I don't mind but wearing at work I prefer not, anyway, to the point........having spent a few hours doing comparisons with my photos of the fake and genuine have I learnt anything.....I hope so....this pics is taken from the net and I would say is genuine....am I right????After 30 years in the waiting.......GMT IIc
What other brand will you buy?
Now that it seems Rolex is going to restrict supply what other brand will you consider buying?
