Omega seamaster cal 1120
Does this look ok?
Been trying to figure out if this dial is just faded or if this 2599.80 is suspect.. Everything else to my knowledge seems ok (as far as authentic) but am no expert. The waves seems to have gone from the dial or at least have lost their prominence.. Was made in 1998 as far as I know..I realize there are tons of fakes of these things out there.. Have a chance to buy this one for around 1500..thanks
Speedmasters by the Case!
Just spotted these pictures that I thought were interesting.omega case.jpgomega case 2.jpgWith descriptionThe watches were made in 1997 and bought in 1998 when they were released. They were released as a tribute to 40th anniversary of the Omega Speedmaster Professionals. A collection of 23 Speedmaster watches presented in a case fitted with a an Omega briefcase, that doubles up as a display case, fitted with genuine NASA Apollo-Space suit. Each watch in the collection is adorned with a different NASA mission patch on it's dial at the 9 o'clock position: Starting with the 1965 Gemini V to the 1973 Skylab SL-4. It also contains areplica of the original 1957 Speedmaster. 23 watches total: Gemini V, Gemini VI, Gemini VII, Gemini VIII, Gemini IX, Gemini X, Gemini XI, Gemini XII, Apollo 7, Apollo 8, Apollo 9 Gumdrop & Spider , Apollo 10 Snoopy and Charlie Brown , Apollo 11 Columbia and Eagle , Apollo 12 Intrepid and Yankee Clipper , Apollo 13 Odyssey and Aquarius , Apollo 14 Kitty
Deepsea vs PO, Grand Carrera AND BVLGARI BVLGARI
ok, im not posting this in the Rolex general forum because Ill get shreaded in to a million pieces But its almost time to buy a new watch, and ive been saving up for a Deepsea or maybe a GMT TT..but the price really got me thinking.. With the price of one Rolex, I could get 3 very decent watches.. It took so long saving up for the watch, and my mind was always set on another Rolex, but now that i almost have the funds, it got me thinking again; maybe I should 'expand' my collection and try a few different brands..What do you guys think?VSI currently have a TT Sub and a moonwatch btw
