Hublot introduced a new landmark for the brand this January: its first moon-phase watch. The Hublot Classic Fusion Aeromoon prominently displays the phases of the moon on its skeletonized dial.The Hublot Classic Fusion Aeromoon places its moon-phase display just beneath the hands at 6 o’clock. The partially frosted subdial obscures the moon’s passage so that only its current phase can be seen. It shows two convex spherical moons, which appear and disappear in keeping with passage of the 29.5-day lunar month. This subdial is 13 mm in diameter.Around this subdial is a simple date display. To complete the calendar, the day and month are shown on two skeletonized disks in the top half of the dial, which turn to show their current values just beneath 12 o’clock. The case middle has four integrated buttons that can be used to correct the calendar. To many watch fans, Audemars Piguet is all about the Royal Oak, its iconic octagonal sports watch. However, the family-owned Swiss brand also wowed aficionados of haute horlogerie at this year’s SIHH with its incredibly complicated and extremely limited Tradition Tourbillon Minute Repeater Chronograph, inspired by a vintage timepiece from the 1920s. The watch’s cushion-shaped case takes its design cues from that of a vintage pocketwatch that currently resides in Audemars Piguet’s private museum, located in the brand’s longtime hometown of Le Brassus, Switzerland. Inside the case is a proprietary caliber that combines three major horological functions, a chronograph, tourbillon regulator, and minute repeater. How we see time influences how we communicate and perceive time. Time for some people is waiting for hands on a dial to move into position, while for others it is carefully watching seconds precisely count away on a digital display. When I was growing up the terms "analog" and "digital" only had reference to clock and watch faces. It was not until I was a bit older did I realize those words had meaning not related to telling the time.If someone were to ask you what time it was and the analog dial above represented the picture on your watch, what would say? You could say it is just after noon, or half past 12. You might say that it is 12:30, or 'about' 12:30. Question about Straps for 15202
Hi all,Been getting a bit crazy with APs lately and wanted to know if there are any strap options for the 15202... I tried calling AP about it but it doesnt look like there are plots for the watch... Im willing to put on the plots from the 15300 or 15400 if they fit but those might only be in WG or Plat... expensive option but will consider it.The other option is go to AP bands as they have a conversion kit for 15400s, 15300s and 15202s... has anyone had experience with these?If I do get the plots from AP bands as it might be my only option, would you know any AP OEM straps that fit? Such as straps from he 15300? Thanks a lot guys, any help is appreciated.Best,Brian
