Seamaster from 90s
My father bought this seamaster in 1990, had it on the wrist till to unwearable (see the lugs), then forgot in the basement for a long time. I know nothing about Omega, would like to know more about it, and wondering is it repairable? or worth to do so? If the repair cost won't be skyhigh, I would choose to have it restored. Thanks!
Which Omegas do you forsee or currently do have collectible value?
Hi, being a new member here am still understanding brands and what ittakes to make a great watch company:). In the Omega lineup, which Omegas of past are good collectibles?..Also which ones do you see as collectibles in teh current lineup? Thanks
5980 crown...
G'day everyone.. I just took a closer look at the crown of my recent 5980 and found the Calatrava logo line up perfectly. This is a special hidden feature by PP (just like the SkyDweller) or it is just my luck? Either way... It is one sweet daily piece. Thanks for your kind feedbacks and cheers!! James

As I grew older and graduated college I remember being on the subway on the way to the US Open with my Dad and seeing a guy (not much older than I was at the time) wearing a Black SS Submariner. The watch was perfect. It was luxurious but not too formal. It was sporty but not too casual. It was a Rolex but not as ostentatious as the all gold ones you would see Gordon Gekko type people wear. I began to wonder if it was fake or how did he get the money to buy that if it was real, more importantly just how far off his lifestyle was from mine. I didn't have hardly any money at the time and the thought of buying a Rolex could not have been more foreign. It made me want to be in the position to buy that watch and I knew if I worked hard enough I could. Years went on and I saw
