Steinhart Ocean One Titanium Premium 500 Review
Steinhart is a familiar name to those of us who have been interested in affordable watches over the last several years. When we were first getting into this world, their watches offered a lot of bang for the buck, and looked good too, as they were largely homage watches or recreations of classic styles, like fliegers and marines. Steinhart also manages to do something few other brands are able to, and seemingly with no great explanation as to how, which is offer Swiss made automatic movements in watches that often cost under $500. What they lacked in originality, they seemingly made up for in style and low prices. With that said, it's been a few years since we last reviewed a Steinhart watch. One AP SC in USA?
I did a quick search and didn't seem to find any info, but is there only on AP SC in the USA? The one in Clearwater, FL?
Where's Thomas(TSW)?
Hey has anyone heard from Thomas? He's been unnaturally silent for a while. The AP forum without Thomas is like PB&J without PeanutButter.
Speedmaster Purchasing Help - New vs Used
Hello all, I've decided it's time to pick up another Speedmaster. I've had 2 of the new Speedy Pros with the huge box and strap set before but this time I'm thinking of going with an older 3570.50 to hopefully save a bit. I've sourced a great condition preowned 3570.50 from a trusted seller BUT the watch has an unknown service history. Given the cost of a potential upcoming service ($500-$800), that offsets any savings with buying used and pretty much gets me a brand new Speedmaster. The question is, do I go with the used 3750.50 now at a great savings or just spend the extra and go new?
