Concord C1 Eternal Gravity
Concord might have dubbed this unique piece the Time Warp. Just looking at it transports me back a few years to those giddy days of carefree spending. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the $1.2 million C1 Eternal Gravity was not created with the U.S. market in mind. As we all know, the watch words here (pun intended) are sensible, rational, and reasonably priced. Whereever you live, the one-of-a-kind C1 Eternal Gravity lays down some serious numbers. The case measures 48.5 mm in diameter and 18.5mm thick. The sapphire crystal is 3.3mm thick. Then there are the gemstones. The 18K white gold case is set with 227 baguette-cut diamonds totaling 20.17 carats. The dial adds a further 100 baguette-cut diamonds totaling 1.40 carats and 34 carnelians totaling 1.88 carats. The crown alone sports 26 baguette-cut diamonds weighing 1.30 carats. All together, the C1 Eternal Gravity puts an impressive 403 stones totaling 25.31 carats on your wrist.Inside the ice palace resides the hand-wou
Halios Tropik B Review
In the world of micro-brand dive watches, originality is often hard to find. Sure, on the pricier end of the scale one can find companies like UTS making unique and reliable divers. On the lower end, however, most boutique brands offer watches that, while certainly affordable and well made, lack a certain creative spark. If not outright homages, many implement tried and true design elements or use off-the-shelf cases, resulting in timepieces that cannibalize one another and already existing popular models. That's where Halios comes in. Founded by Jason Lim, Halios is a brand out of Vancouver that's developed a real following by those in the know in the watch community. That's because Halios is beloved for their original dive watches (remember the "Puck?") developed from the ground up and sold to you at a fraction of the cost. And their watches are limited productions, so once they're gone, they're truly gone.2013 was a big year for Halios, announcing not one, but three models: the Tropi
Photo Report: Inside Bremont's New London Boutique
Quintessentially British brand Bremont has a new boutique just off London's Mount Street, which just opened in July 2012. They invited us over to take a look and share a drink with the team and a few collectors. The shop fits the brand perfectly, and here's a look at what we saw.?The first thing you notice when you walk in the front door is a vintage motorcycle. It's the real deal, not a prop - there's a drip pan actually catching oil sitting underneath the thing. The whole boutique is like this - instead of aviation, diving, and motorsports inspired decorations, they've brought in real pieces to fill the store. A floodlight, and ejector seats, propellers, and a few other sizable hunks of wood and metal are peppered around the shop floor. There's a great bar and sitting area at the back as well.? 2 OF 16 A Real Vintage Motorcycle at Bremont And then there are the products. This is Bremont's first home of its own, and the full range, including everything from basic AL

The OFFICIAL GMT-Master II 16710 - 3186 Owners Club!
Hi all,I'm proud to be an owner of a 16710 - 3186. Some argue they would prefer the more reliable 3185 movement. Others say they wouldnt pay a premium. Nobody really knows how many 16710's were fitted with the 3186 caliber as Rolex doesn't release production numbers. I'm not an expert, but my advice would be to hold on to these if you have one. The last 10 years have proven this is a collectible timepiece, and only going to raise in value!I've read that this combo was introduced as early as serial numbers starting with Z6xx. Let's compose our own database. I'm curious to know:- The letter and as much of the serial number you feel comfortable sharing.- Is the 2 in GMT-Master a Roman numeral/stick/rectangular?- Country of origin. - Is your original warranty a credit card?So to all owner's of the 16710 - 3186, past and present, post your pictures! Here is my M3xx/rectangular/US/Credit card on my newly acquired jubilee. Cheers!
