HourTime Show Watch Podcast Episode 30
30 episodes everyone. Well on your way to31 episodes. Here we talk about MB&F's new HM4 Thunderbolt watch, as well a lot about Japanese watches. John coin's his new favorite term, "Seiko Colostoma." Not actually a watch, but a really interesting idea nonetheless.Listen to the HourTime Show podcast Episode 30 here.
Largest AP vintage collection
I don't know if this is old news, but I just read a Hodinkee article saying 89 vintage AP watches from the personal collection of Marcus was purchased by AP and headed to the AP museum..hodinkee/articles/the...udemars-piguetSome of you may know that Marcus has a large AP dealership on Bond Street in London and is also well connected in the watch industry.I have a book from the Marcus AP exhibit back in 2012 and some of these vintage pieces are nothing like their current Royal Oak collection AP is now better known for. If anyone is interested in this book with the vintage AP watches, it can be downloaded from the Marcus website.
Have the Diver...15400 next?
Any of you out there with both a ROO Diver (SS) and a 15400st? I have the diver and currently a friend is selling a barely worn blue 15400st...I am thinking of buying that as well...do you guys think it would be redundant? I was thinking of wearing the Diver for sporty look and the 15400st for suits/dressy evenings...what do you guys think?
Self-gift my new 5711 blue
After 10hr flight to Ireland for family holiday my first port of call was collecting my new Nautilus - so pleased with it! Also uploaded pic of my birthday cake (glad watch wasn't inside!)
Former AD Ask Me (almost) Anything
After having lurked a bit on this forum I thought it would be nice to perhaps give some insight into the industry from an AD's perspective. Title says it all. I have worked for several AD's so any questions feel free to ask and Ill try to answer them as honestly as I can. Due to obvious privacy related issues won't disclose names, companies and locations.
