Removing the strap from the case is a snap, but how do I get a tang buckle off of the end of the strap? Thanks guys.
Blackbird - what a workhorse
I bought this Blackbird new about 8 years ago from an AD in Rhode Island. This has been my daily wearer for most of that time as various timepieces have come and gone. It has seen a lot of wrist time. I'm not sure what the movement is exactly, however, it's never been serviced, and it still runs at +1 sec per day. The bezel is tight, and the case has stood up beautifully. the workmanship is really outstanding. I'm not really a Breitling guy per se, but this watch is proof that they make an incredible timepiece.
Incoming....5167
Just picked it up today from local AD. Got a slight discount. It will be a daily watch, how easily does the clasp scratch? I work on a mac and I'm afraid the keyboard part were I rest my hand will scratch against it. PP_5167A_1.jpgPP_5167A_2.jpgPP_5167A_3.jpg
Has anyone received discounts for 5711 from an AD?
Hi, looking into possibly acquiring 5711. I'm hearing that this model is not discounted much. But has nyone received discounts from. AD? If yes, how much of a discount? Also, please let me know what a regular overhaul should run on 5711. Should one do it every 5 years as recommended?Thank you in advance!!
Do you think that this is the start of a trend?....more
After going through the Panerai website this afternoon, I see more of a mix of 40, 42, 44, 45 and 47mm watches that we have seen in the past.True, there have always been the 40mm (Pam 48-50), the 42mm (Pam 98 and 141), 44mm of course, Radiomirs in 45mm and the big Luminor cases.....but I see a few 42mm with the Radiomir 1940 case....and I think there was also a white dialed/date that stood out to me.Is this the start of a trend for Panerai?Elliot
