ZENITH Captain Grand Date MoonphaseAfter the on-board timer, the stars were allied sailors second. Their position in the sky, the latitude of the ship was calculated. With the help of two coordinates of longitude and latitude, the captain was able to find its position and define the specific courses to reach its destination. Moonphase model ZENITH reproduced on its dial the various stages of the lunar cycle - new moon, first quarter, full moon and last quarter. The moonphase function is already integrated in the pocket of ZENITH Watches. This function appears in a 06 opening and the date is displayed in an hour. The Captain Grand Date Moonphase is available in two versions, with a dial silver guilloché nail in Paris in a case of gold steel or pink.
Photo Report: Inside The New Bremont Boutique On Madison Avenue
The British brand Bremont has traveled stateside and opened a boutique on Madison Avenue in New York. The new store is similar to the Mount Street outpost in London, wth a great selection of watches, memorabilia, and even a Martin Baker ejection chair. 1 OF 19 2 OF 193 OF 19 The U-2 Wristwatch 4 OF 19 This watch was designed for spy-plane pilots to use at altitudes of 100,000 feet and temperatures approaching -40 degrees Celcius. The watch is also water-resistant to 100 meters and has a 38-hour power reserve. Martin Baker Ejection Chair 5 OF 19 The boutique includes an original Martin Baker ejection chair. Bremont notoriously only sells the MB1 watch to those who have survived being ejected from a chair similar to this one on an active military plane. Jimmy Fallon purchased one for his father-in-law. GMT or DJII
Hey Guys,Moving on to my second watch.last year my wife purchased a BLNR for my 35th Birthday.Loved the watch... honestly grew tired of the Black and Blue combo and we had an investment opportunity come up .. so we sold this along with a couple other toys to invest. Now back and looking to make my 2nd purchase on a RolexOur local AD has 2 that has caught my attention and I'm trying to decide between the two..He has offered either at 8k and there will be not tax... is that a good deal for either of these or could I do better?we paid full bit for the BLNR 9k and no tax when we purchased it Please post pictures and provide any input you have.I was an overall fan of the BLNR and he has an all black version so it is one of my two contenders especially as I think the solid black bezel will go with everythingthe other the DJII - Its a Blue dial / Fluted Bezel.. It feels both sporty and a little more dressy. But I wonder if it may be a bit flashyIf it was Black dial I think I might get a bi
What should be included with an AD purchased Rolex?
Hey everyone I just purchased a 116610LV on Sunday and when I got home I looked in the box and noticed a few things missing. Inside the sleeve of the box was only the chronometer tag, the oyster swimproof tag, warranty card and the Submariner Date booklet. No factory service booklet, no warranty booklet, no bezel protector and no green holder the warranty card and booklets go in. So I called the AD and gave him a little piece of my mind about presentation and and expectations when making a large purchase. Easily fixed he has the holder and the bezel protector which I am getting Saturday but he says Rolex is trying to stream down their box contents and no longer provide the warranty and factory booklets. In the classifieds here every LV has them. Are these important pieces to be missing? Will they affect value if traded in the future? What do you all think? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
