HYT H2 Hydromechanical Watch Unveiled
The Hydromechanical Horologists, aka HYT, have finally released their second watch model after the explosively popular H1 from last year. The new watch is the H2, and breaks new ground in terms of mechanical and visual interest versus merely adding a new complication. Before getting all excited about the H2, let's recall what the H1 was about by visiting our hands-on look at the H1 watch here.Earlier this month HYT shared with us a picture of the rear of the HYT H2's movement here. Looking like a robot face, the image was a prelude of a technically marvelous watch to come that was as much about design and style as it was about horology. HYT worked with APRP's Giulio Papi to help design and produce the H2's movement. ROO buckle placement?
Right guys please bear with this newbie and all my upcoming Q's How do you guys prefer the tang buckle to sit?Mines currently more towards the 6 o'clock side, opposed to how I like my Rolex clasps to be central on the underside I'm unsure with the AP strap.Visually central would look better but then think I would push the excess strap further round and stick out a little on the 12 o'clock side, I'm also thinking due to the slight bulge of the strap it protects the buckle from desk marks!For reference strap is the standard length version and I had one slot tighter left spare.

Hope everyone on trf is well and good! Recently fallen in love with the new DJ41 on jubilee, fluted bezel, rhodium dial...the watch is pure class and quite a lot of watch for the money...Already own a subc 116610lnwas wondering how does it compare in size to the DJ??Also which of the 2 watches do you think has more wrist presence?Thanks in advance
