Ball Engineer Master II Slide Chronograph Watch, Slipping To The Future
When I first read about the new Ball Engineer Master II Slide Chronograph, I for some reason had the refrain of "Time keeps on slipping, slipping, slippinginto the future" pop into my head. Is this new Ball the future of chronographs? Well, time will tell. For now, though, it definitely is an intriguing iteration. If you were only to look at the dial of the new Ball Engineer Master II Slide Chronograph, you would have no problem identifying it as a chronograph: it has a traditional "tri-compax" layout with the 30-minute register up top, running seconds at 9, 12-hour register at the bottom, and a tachymeter scale around the outside. When you look to the side of the almost 48?mm case and see no pushers surrounding the crownthen you begin to question your assumptions.Slide In Its Neutral PositionOf course, a brand like Ball is not going to play games to give the appearance of a chronograph while actually tucking other functionality in;?so, how do you engage the chronograph? Omega X-33 Titanium Speedmaster Gen2 Review
Ahhh, it's good to be back. I've been greatly enjoying my near-mint, complete, Second Generation Omega Speedmaster X-33:A handsome watch that is so functional, yet subtle . . . practical, yet exotic . . . and overall, it's just so very legitimate . My backstory: I owned a Gen1 X-33 in the past, but at the time I didn't fully warm up to its less integrated looks. I sold it. But I talked up the watch so much, that a good friend of mine bought one for himself; a Gen2, and every time I saw it I kicked myself that I should have one. The aesthetics of the Gen2 model really clicked with me, but I just admired my friend's watch from afar. Then, recently, this inspiring thread nudged me to act. I missed out on this one a few weeks ago, due to my own sheer inattention. But I ended up being able to purchase that same watch from its buyer. Now, I'm really glad to own this very nice example (serial number 5.9 million), and I'm looking forward to enjoying it!So -- what do I like about the
Any reason to believe this is not genuine? Is it worth it?
Hey guys,Stumbled across this add that got me interested.Ofcourse I will take it to patek for an authenticity check, but just based on pictures, is there anything that looks off?Just that it is a long drive, and I really don't want to be disappointed. It is a 2008 model, and never been serviced. Owner claims the watch is mint and barely been used, and functions with zero problems.I don't think the patek changed the movement or any of the physical characteristics between then and the current model; is that correct?Asking price is USD18,500.What do you guys think?
Redesigned DeepSea Blue - I didn't see that coming!
