Target audience of AP
Wanted to run an observation by the group here. I've been a fan on the Brand and the quality of the watches and movement finishing for a while but something is keeping me away. I've started to notice younger and younger aged gentlemen wearing APs. Mostly Rubber Clad/Offshore and few Royal Oaks. The marketing too has gone heavy on sports, and social media. Also seeing virtually no adverts or launches for the non Royal Oak line or dress watches which is a shame. Has AP changed things around when it comes to the target audience? It's a superb brand and watch maker, but it feels like more a fashion icon/status symbol in last few months to years. AP Dual Time Question
Hello Guys...I went to look at this AP Dual Time today... beautiful watch! However, the AD told me that they stopped making this watch now and its the last one they have in the shop!Anyone confirm this? Also I called to check about a 1.5 link and the Service Center was not helpful at all. They told me that I had to send the watch into there service centre via the AD and then they will check out the watch and then let me know if a 1.5 link is available for this watch! Sound a bit much just for a simple link no?
Omega seamaster Bond 2541.80 tritium-luminova dial diferences
Hello!A new watch entered in my collection and it is an identical model than my father-in-law one: An Omega Seamaster 300 quartz, the watch that James Bond worn in Goldeneye in 1995.Its serial number start in 55.xxx.xxx, so, if I check on the Omega serial production tablets, it mean that both watches were producted in the same year (1995). But they are not identical because mine has tritium dial and the other luminova. I don't know if its original dial was change in a service work. It's difficult to see but there are a little differences between both watches. The luminova dial has a symmetrical 3 and a long F whereas the tritium dial has an asymmetrical 3 and a short F. In addition, the words on the luminova are thicker.A few pics. Sorry for the quality and for my poor english.Best regards. My watch with a nice patina The two watches. On your left, tritium. Right, luminova. After sun expositionTritium dialLuminova dialDiferences
