Pre owned AP RG 26320 on strap - impossible to find
Hi,I've searched and searched for a couple of months now but unable to find a pre owned RG on strap white dial 26320. I've asked dealers too but no luck. Why is it so difficult to find? Is it not a popular model?
Big Debate
OK Guys. Wondering what you think about this decision I am about to take...I am about to purchase a Breitling at a really low price. Its a Breitling superocean heritage 38mm on a rubber strap. (Got a question about that strap too) I will be purchasing this watch as a daily wearer until the day I get my Rolex - the wife already promised she'll get me a rolex in about 3 years as a masters degree grad gift. I feel a little bit like I am purchasing this Breitling because I am filling the void until I get the rolex. And I already viewed the previous posts/thread about someone buying the rolex so please dont send me to that thread. But now that I know that I can get a great watch (breitling) at a great price and I know my wife is going to get me a rolex in a couple years. Do you think buying the breitling is a good idea? Background - I cant wear my usual daily wearer tag f1 red dial because I am in the military and a red dial is a big NO NO.Also if I am buying the rubber strap and it is size
Do aftermarket straps "Pollute" a watch?
I have been a Rolex owner and recently bought a Pam 90. In the Rolex world most think of anything aftermarket added to a watch as being the cardinal sin but I see lots of aftermarket companies selling straps to the Panerai fans. Do you guys stick only to official OEM straps made by Panerai or do you like other companies also?
Is the DD40 an everyday watch?
I'm typically a jeans and a t-shirt kind of guy after work and on weekends, and many times I slip on sweats and Nike's to run errands (I'm mid-30's).That being said, is the DD40 too classy for occasions like this? Am I better off getting the PM Sub?
advice on getting a BLNR
Hi guys!so im new to the forum, and was hoping someone could offer me some advice! I am looking to get hold of a blue/black, i have contacted a bunch of ADs around London and even other parts of the country, they all say they there is a 6 /12 month waiting list etc. I''ve read a number of the posts on here where people say that they basically only go to loyal customers of the AD or friends etc. but my problem is that this will be the first watch that I purchase so i don't have a relationship with any dealers? My question is do you have any advice for this, or am i just completely waisting my time?I'd get it second hand, but as my first ever watch i'd like it to be new, and I'd also like to save the 1.5k or so from getting it new plus the 5 year warranty and everything. Thanks for any advice!
