Montblanc recently launched a new collection called 1858, inspired by 1930s pilots’ watches from the brand’s archives. At launch, two models have been announced, the?1858 Chronograph Tachymeter Limited Edition, in gold, and the?1858 Small Second Limited Edition, in steel. The first model is the 1858 Small Second Limited Edition comes in a 44-mm-diameter by 10.95-mm-thick stainless steel case and features a?large-diameter (37.2 mm) hand-wound movement reminiscent of those in pocketwatches from the same time period. The 17-jewel, 3-Hz (21,600 vph) caliber powers the watch and is visible through the sapphire caseback. It carries a power reserve of 46 hours.Montblanc 1858 Small Second Limited Edition in steelThe matte black dial with large, printed luminous Arabic hour markers C along with similarly large rhodium-plated?poire squelette?hour and minute hands C is both attractive and easy to read. Breaking News: Watch Worn By Steve Jobs In Iconic 1984 Photo Of Apple Founder With First Mac, Just Sold At Auction
We've just found out that a quartz Seiko watch from the 1980s, that was owned and worn by Steve Jobs, just sold at auction for $42,500 – and we'd bet cash money that's the highest price anyone has ever paid for a simple quartz Seiko reference 6431-6030. The sale was part of an auction that included several other pieces of Steve Jobs memorabilia, authenticated by his long-time house manager, Mr. Mark Sheff (a letter of authenticity is also included). 1 OF 4 ADVERTISEMENT The watch itself is pretty much as unremarkable as a watch can get: an inexpensive quartz Seiko that Jobs, if the condition of the strap is any indication, bought and then wore daily, probably without giving it a lot of thought. However, the thing that elevates it to historic treasure status is that it's the watch Jobs was wearing in 1984 when one of the most iconic photographs of Apple's co-founder was taken: that of him with the very first Macintosh

Considering a Speedmaster Broad Arrow
Looking to buy a Broad Arrow, this one to be exact. I can't find any AD's in my area with it in stock, and of course if they order it they don't want to discount it. Any recommendations on good grey market dealers or AD's? Called alanfurman and they said $3600 and that the watch would come with the warranty card from the AD they purchased from so the Omega warranty would be valid. Is this true? Is this a good price for this watch? Thanks for any help, I've been buying Rolex's lately and am a little out of touch on the Omega's.
