Mr. Levinson was donated to the original manuscript of Rain Man, the film which won Oscar for best film, Best Director, best actor, and Best writer at the 61st Oscar. Ms. Jiang Wenli has chosen a manuscript of his first film as Director and Mr. Wang Quanan donated one of his beloved film recorders. What do you think of Omega's current push to limit AD numbers and move to boutiques?A couple of years ago you could easily get 30% off and today the few AD's left hesitate to go over 10%.I believe Omega is trying to increase brand awareness and allure, and probably increase resale values but I haven't seen used prices move up, have you?What do you think will ultimately happen? Will it pan out?

5712r or 5711
Hi guys,So I recently went in to my local AD and went on the 2 year waiting list for a 5711. I've been thinking in the meantime about picking up another piece. However, I've recently started to wonder if i should pick up another and get the 5711 or instead just get the 5712r instead. Obviously both different watches, but I'm thinking along the lines of the rarity and demand of the 5711 makes it special, whereas the 5712r in the rose gold and the complication makes it special. I'm new to the Patek brand so I'm looking for an opinion from the horses mouth so to speak. What do you guys think? Both I think can be worn daily and on numerous occasions. is it worth the extra and get the 5712r or waiting and joining the 5711 club with another piece in my collection? Thanks guys!!!!!!
