Introducing: The Montblanc 4810 Orbis Terrarum
Last year, Montblanc released the Spirit Orbis Terrarum World Time with in-house(ish) movement. This year they have extended that design with the 4810 Collection Orbis Terrarum. This year’s 4810 Orbis Terrarum is similar to the one released last year with the exception of the color scheme and case shape. 1 OF 2 The new 4810 has the same caliber MB 29.20 automatic movement as the Spirit. The world-time dial features 24 different cities in 24 different time zones. The dial is composed of multiple layers of sapphire crystal that rotate accordingly. The main difference between the Spirit model and the 1480 is the color scheme. While last year’s model indicated the nighttime hours by shading the countries in dark blue and the daylight hours countries in light blue. This year the countries during daylight hours are colored in shades of yellow, orange, and green. Additionally, the 43 mm stainless-steel case is a slightly different shape with stepped lugs. 2 OF
The Safari on rubber
Finally got my black band on the Safari. Really like it. Also a shot with a few of my sportier boys...
My Planet Ocean & My NATO's
Here is my pristine Omega Planet Ocean XL and of course it's in orange. I like loud, so the orange fits me. I've wanted to replace the orange rubber strap with a more comfortable NATO strap as I already have a couple on watches on them now. I couldn't decide right off which one I wanted for my PO, so I bought all three. I'm leaning toward the black with the single orange stripe. Just wanted to share with my PO friends and enthusiasts.
any love out there for the 514 or 515?
Don't hear much about the 514/515. Is there a reason why these receive so little attention. I find them quite striking
Rolex 18038 case - double gold stamp? Does this seem legit to you ?
Hi guys, Found a Rolex 18038 over the internet on a local site a few days ago and it seems a little weird to me. It has a double gold stamp. I asked the guy about the serials , he gave me some pictures and a serial number dating the watch to 1985. What do you make of this ? Haven't seen 18038 with this kind of gold stamp markings before. The movement though seems legit - 3055, but could the case be after market or something? Thank you for posting your opinions on this!P.S.: Sorry for the quality of the images...but this is what I got from him after I asked him to go to a watch service shop and take off the back.image5.jpegIMG_1839.jpgIMG_1840.jpgIMG_1837.jpgIMG_1838.jpg
