Features of Oris Big Crown X1 Calculator Watch
While the case and remote access are quite nice, I think that having a resistance to water of only 30 meters for the case is too little. However, the Crystal is Sapphire and the dial is coated with SuperLumiNova luminous. Being is not a limited edition Oris watch, X - 1 Crown Big calculator will be part of the standard collection for some time and corresponds to a black calf strap. Because the watch uses a basic movement and a design which is only a fundamental review of the things we saw before, I expect a huge price for this timepiece.
Interview: Georges Kern Of Roger Dubuis
Just like 2011 was a strong year for Zenith, this past 12 months marked a return of sorts for Roger Dubuis. The manufacture refocused its efforts on producing handsome, highly finished watches such as La Monegasque Collection, which we showed you here. Also, 2011 marked the return of the brand's founding father, Roger Dubuis himself, to the brand that bears his name. 1 OF 1 But what does Georges Kern, the man behind the rebirth of Dubuis have to say about all this? Well, Blake sat down with him in Monaco to chat about why he think Dubuis is a special brand, and just much more money goes into the finish of an RD movement than into a standard mechanical watch. Also, Kern says Roger Dubuis is the only manufacture in the world that is completely in-house from top to bottom, and marked with the Geneva seal. Because of this, the standard Dubuis movement costs around $5000, while many competitors' movements, he says, cost a fraction of this. Since the filming
My duo...
Greetings TRF,I really took a lot of pictures yesterday and had to delete quite a few as they didn't come out nicely. Here's the last one I decided to keep and share with you, that's what I would call one of my watch duo's.This one is dedicated to Ken (Steelerfan65) and his incredible Jumbo/Nautilus pair. Mine aren't good collectibles, are much smaller and beaten up but hey, they do make me just as happy! Thank you for watching, feel free to comment.
Speedy losing time
I've proudly worn my 3570.50 almost daily since I purchased it new in January and I love it. I wind it every morning, but the darned thing loses about 15-20 sec/day. I realize there is a reason this watch doesn't carry COSC certification, but geez... My Zenith Daytona and GMT-C stay within about 3 sec/day and I'm used to that level of accuracy. How accurate are your 1863 movements? Do I need to prepare for separation anxiety and a long trip to Omega Service, or is that just the way it is?____________________________ TT OysterQuartz SS/Black U Daytona TT GMT II-C DD OysterQuartz Brietling Aero Omega Speedmaster Pro
