My trip to Dream-Land (Patek Philippe) ... A lot of pics!
Guys ...Been a while .... I was preparing for this life-trip to what I called it Dream-Land (PP) .....First of all let me thank Mr. Olivier Mestre and his great team who provide everything from A-Z.Flying was from Dammam to Geneva (via Doha) on Qatar Airways (about 10hours flight incl. 3 hours transit time (never mind as we're going to visit our beloved place). Now approaching GVA Airport - was early morning Thu 31 Oct:I found a Mercedes S class Limo (provided by PP) waiting for me at the airport to pick me up to The Manadrin Hotel.I should spend some rest time before we move to Patek Philippe Museum (I called it Treasures House) Unfortunately, I did not rest as I immediately went to the Legend salon of PP (Met with the very awesome Mr. Patrick - Salon Director who was a wonderful Gentleman in everything, Mrs Mouna and the fabulous watchmaker Vaprise).... Now to the Museum. Its really amazing place to visit however its my mistake that I arrive same day program starting day (I should arr
New Lineup!!!
Well, after reviewing my Panerai Line, I have realized that my 560 and 564 is too similar (especially since they are both not sandwich style) So I decided to let go of the 564 (The titanium was nice at the beginning, but i wanted to feel the watch so this was the one to say bye bye)Out with the 564 and In with the new 1320! I think my line is complete for now....or at least until next year! enjoy!
Aloha... is Hulk a perfect companion for a Hawaii trip? (Warning: pic heavy)
Spending the week in Big Island, and the choice of what watch to bring with was an easy one for me. Here are some pics to help you decide on an answer. And some scenery shots without the main character:Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Submariner should cost...
Found this ad from presumably 1975 for the Submariner priced at $470. With a quick computation on the inflation calculator, the cost today would be $2250. Interestingly, the exchange rate of the Swiss Franc went from 3+:1 in the 70's to about 1:1 today. Perhaps this is the reason other Swiss watch brands followed the same trend?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Tudor Man Of Steel
I was out looking for the Black Rose(BBN ETA). No such luck. But fell instantly for the MOS. Great Steel Bezel with the red triangle at noon. Superman-it is. Nice simple look but with a date and almost looks cleaner like a 2 line text since the wr is in red. Not many of these out there yet-it’s definitely a looker. It’s beautiful. 70 hour power reserve. Bought it with both leather and rivet bracelet. I’m a big fan of the rivet bracelet. I think it’s super cool. Anyway I wanted to introduce my watch! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
