A LANGE S?HNE Saxonia Moon Phase
There's been a moon phase on the Saxonia watch by A. Lange & S?hne since 1994. This year, the German brand is adding a big date to the collection's starry display. It's a first! As the Saxony watchmaker's 16th movement to feature the moon phase, the self-winding L086.5 calibre takes centre stage for its precision and finish. Once it's been set properly, the display will only differ from the actual position of the Moon by one day every 122.6 years if the watch works non-stop thus providing a 99.998% accurate reproduction of the lunar cycles. A comfortable 70-hour power reserve allows the wearer to gaze at the disc as it rotates its 852 stars and the gold hands gliding over the solid silver dial. The performance takes place in a 40mm white or rose gold case. The watch also has a stop seconds mechanism for accurate time-setting. Price: 28,500 . Dan Diaconu
Question, am I allowed to publish the AP price list on the forum
Am I allowed to publish the AP price list on the forum? I have the SIngapore price list from my trip and also they have the pocket friendly catalogue as well as the traditional A4 size version.
Omega position/timing
I've had my Omega 3573.50 for a couple of weeks now and it seems to be running fast, about +7 to +10 a day. That's not so bad that I can't live with it, but I stopped by the AD and they told me it is +0 in one position and +13 in another, and points in between in other positions. I can't recall which position was the fastest or slowest. My questions is:Is that much position variation normal for that movement?Or is it a symptom of some problem? Should the movement be more consistent or is that the way they are?My Rolex's are about the same variance in any position. Guess I'm just not sure what expectation I should have for the Omega. I know it's not a quartz watch and I don't expect it to be but I don't know if I am getting the most consistent rate possible. The AD has it for examination, but I wanted to ask the forum folks what they thought.....
Patek Philippe Price List... 2 Weeks Only
The most current price list from Patek Philippe for MRSP in the US is currently posted up at Timezone. As per the title of this post, it's available for two weeks only but you can save a copy of it. Click here. This is the second price increase for Patek so far this year!!A good price guide for those of you with previous Patek models listed would be to take the MRSP of the piece you have at the time you paid for it, and meet it half way with the current price of said piece.
How many BLNR owners will be jumping ship for new Pepsi?
I love my BLNR even more after seeing the new Pepsi. I'm glad it lives on but it doesn't look good with that jubilee. I couldn't care less about the new case (which looks the same) or the new movement since my 3186 is spot on.So how many BLNR owners will be selling theirs once they get the Pepsi?
