Question on AP 44 strap options
Lately I'm hung up on getting the AP 44 Chrono in SS. My only issue is that I don't appreciate the rubber strap. However, I do love the black leather strap on the Rubens Barrichello 2. Does anyone know if this strap will fit on the 44 chrono? And if so, will AP sell me that strap and deployment?
Thinking of getting my first Breitling
What do you guys think of this piece? I can get this 50% off retail new in the box. I was wondering what you guys thought of it being rose gold?

David Beckham is the new face of the Bretling Unitime, surely a great choice of brand ambassador!.breitling/en/news/ind...dContent=65251
Patek AD Paris
I was at the Patek AD in Paris today. All I can say. It was the best retail watch experience of my life. That shop is first class. I have never had an experience even close in the US. Unfortunately, their selection was depleted due to the volume of product they move. I was there for an hour and they sold 12 watches! I was looking for the 5980. They had one left with a very minor hair line scratch. They refused to sell it to me. They said that the insurance covered it and they were only using it as a display. Once the watch went out of production they would send it back to the Patek's museum for display. They took my info and told me they would call me when the next one came in in a month or so. When I say small hairline, I mean barely visible to the naked eye. Also, if you want a Patek, 1.23 Euro makes them more reasonable in Europe right now (for a Patek) especially after the 16% VAT refund. You can buy in EU right now for much less than at an AD in the US.
DSSD D-Blue vs SD43
Hello all,New member here, great forum. I have a general question. I am currently looking at the DSSD D-Blue and the SD (new 43 model). I know both are difficult to get atm. I prefer bigger watches and have a decent sized wrist (7.5). I previously owned the DSSD, it was a little top heavy and the bracelet tapers in a fair bit. For this reason, I am considering the SD43, which is almost as big, without the the thickness of the DSSD. I like the looks of both, so that really isn't an issue. Anyone in the same position, or mulled over the same decision?Do members here have any advice? I have a gut feeling that the D-Blue will be worth more in the future, but potentially, so can the SD43 50th Anniversary (that's if they stop making either, which I feel they may for both). Cheers.
