Bvlgari Introduces An Octo Chronograph Watch
In the run-up to BaselWorld, Bulgari has released some information on their newest watch, the Octo Chrono. No, this one isn't emblazoned with any eight-legged sea creatures. Instead, you've got an octagon, a representative combination of a square and circle (and, if you follow their hyperbolic press release, it symbolizes the combination of Italian design and Swiss precision). While the design is sure to garner attention, that's not the main thing that makes this watch interesting to us.For that, you actually need to look past the angular skin (though, with 110 alternating brushed and polished surfaces, that might be a tad hard to do). What I really want to draw some attention to is the movement that's beating away. Thoughts on a two tone 5402 acquisition?
I have found locally a two tone gold/steel. And I need your kind input on this buy. Is it worth it, is better than the 15202 in terms of value at it's price point of nearly $11k?Baring in mind it was serviced professionally by x JLC watchmaker. It comes with letter of Authenticity from it's origin without orignal box or paper.Thanks in advance,

Known AP QC issues to look for?
I'm going to begin the process I think of seriously looking into my first AP, a 15400 Blue from a boutique. I posed this question to the Rolex forum before I got into the search for my BLNR and now I'll ask the same thing here. What QC issues are there to look out for when buying APs, specifically the 15400?For example, with Rolex I usually look for bezel alignment (most common QC issue in my opinion), text alignment on the dial, cyclops alignment, rehaut alignment, lume application, foreign objects under the dial and a non sticking date wheel. Are there any known QC issues in AP? For roughly 2x in price I would hope most of there our be eliminated but you never know!

Need help, 233 or 028 special limited edition PDC/LDC?
Need help from you guys on which one to keep, as I need to sell one, I have both in 100% new state, the 233 is the K series with spot dial, which I like better than the new ones, as for the 028 it's a special 1000 pieces edition, here is the link to the panerai site for the 028..panerai/en/special-ed...serve-pam00028I like them both but can't keep both of them and can't make up my mind, of course they are very different from one another.Do you think the 028 will grow in value over the years? I see it on sale new or 95% between 7400 euros and 8000 euros, the 233 I got brand new for 8200 euros, knowing that they made 4500 of the spot version, plus all the new ones which have AM/PM instead of the spot, not as nice IMO..Thanks a lot for your help...
