Re: Jarno Trulli LE
Hi Guys,I am planning to trade in my AP ROO NOv FC which I have had for the past 6 months now for the Jarno Trulli LE. I really love the FC and have enjoyed wearing this day in and day out. However, the urge to pick up something new has now arisen and I came across a mint Jarno Trulli at a local dealer... Would you consider this trade or should I save up and go in for a possible Red Gold or Schumacher later.Appreciate your views. Thanks,Abner
Is this 2531.80 real?
Hey all,This will be my first luxury watch (other than my grandfather's Rolex which goes out to Vanessa tomorrow for restoration! So excited!) and I've always wanted a 2531.80. Just wanted to run it by you experienced guys/gals to tell me if it is okay, since I am buying from a private seller that I will not meet in person. So, couple quick questions. 1. Does this appear real?2. What would a fair price be to you guys for a 2531.80 in this condition?3. How much does it typically cost to service a watch like this, and how often does it needed!Thank you all so much!
Conversion from hoarding all brands to Patek
Some might know me from here or other forum but at the end my landmark its been impulsive buying until now. It might be interesting for some and it might be boring for others but here it is. I always say Ignorance is a bliss and it reflects in various situations in life but in watches is even more evident. I went crazy and bought as many iconic watches from different as I could, but soon enough I discovered a few of things:1) The week has 7 days, and to truly enjoy your watches is better to have 3-4 watches that you truly love than 20 watches (sorry 19). Because of those many watches you will wear your favorites little or you end up not wearing a lot of them.2) As much as I want them to be all keepers, I flip them and when you flip you loose $$$$$. Isn't better to enjoy them and loose as little as possible ? hell yeah!! whats the Formula : Patek and Rolex. Yes that's the prescription my doc gave me Of course we are allow to deviate a little bit from that prescription: AP and Lange wou
Annoyed about AD experience
Hello everyone,I'm new to the forum and Rolexes in general.I have always wanted to start a real collection of these luxury watches and both my wife and I have been very fortunate to receive huge promotions recently which now allow this to become reality. For my first Rolex I really want a BLNR and also concurrently want to get my wife a new Diamond Tag Heuer Carrera. (I know!! BUT she has her heart set on this model when she saw it.) I also want to get her, her first Rolex for our anniversary. I want to be put on the list for a 43 mm sea dweller for myself and a Daytona C for my father as a thank you for all he has done for me in my earlier years to help me get where I am today. Anyways, armed with vast knowledge from TRF as I have been lurking the last year or so yesterday I set out to go try and make deal(s) happen at all of my close dealers to see stock and overall friendliness and try to develop a relationship but quickly realized that this is going to be a lot harder than I
