Azimuth SP-1 Landship Battle Tank Collection Watch
The Azimuth SP-1 Landship tank watch gets a new limited edition set of watches in full battle paintcalled the "Battle Tank" collection. A set of six new watches from the brand have been given special paint jobs in honor of historic tanks (as described below). We have an watches-dealer hands-on review of an SP-1 Landship watch coming soon, but in the meantime you can check out these interesting versions painted up like enthusiast WWII tank models. The Azimuth SP-1 Landship watch contains a modified Swiss ETA automatic movement that offers a retrograde minute counter and hour indicator as the turret. Price for each is $9,800 Singapore Dollars. azimuthwatchwatches-dealerInformation from Azimuth:Tank 000 This watch embodies a WWII German 1943-1945 inspired three-toned camouflage scheme. The markings depict a knight on a charger, the symbol of the 505th Heavy Tank Battalion, which consisted of the famous Tiger and King Tiger tanks. The tanks from the 505th took part in major offensives lik
15400 quality issues?
Hi there,I'm very happy with my 15400, it's a stunner!Having said this, the thing has some issues that worries me. Bought it a month or so ago fresh from the AD. When I set the date only the crown seems to get stuck while turning it. Turning it slightly back and forth will solve it, but still. When I set the time, the second hand will hack, but when pushing the crown towards the case the second hand will not move. Only after i shake the watch a bit. And it runs +15sec/24h.I will wait a while to break it in, it's on rotation so I don't wear it often. I will wear it for the next month or so and wait what happens. If is doesn't get better I will sell it. I'm not going to wait 6 months for a repair on a brand new watch. Besides that, heard enough horror stories about AP's after sales.
I am sick for wanting a Quartz AP?
I recognise that a Quartz AP Royal Oak is never going to be a collectors choice, but I don't have the negativity many have towards Quartz movements. I have plenty of Automatic watches and manual wind for that matter. My Piaget is a mid size quartz and I enjoy its lightweight and narrow profile, I don't have a huge wrist and don't like the trend to bigger watches. A slim line dress watch is the opposite of my Chronographs. Unlike many AP fans that love the really complex and modern large AP Oaks, my only interest is in a classic style Royal Oak with a nice waffle face and two tone 18K gold, either as an Automatic or Quartz.I know the rolex Oysterquarz have a reasonable following and popularity with many collectors wanting one in their Rolex collection, there does not seem to be the love for the old Quartz Royal Oak's, as a dress watch I really like the profile. Is there something I should consider If I ultimately convince my wife that I need watch number #4 in 2012!!!!!!!!!I WANT YOU TO

Go for the trade, or not?
AD is ok for a straight up trade between my 16610LV (V serial) to their JLC Master Control Date ()So that gives it a value for my LV at around $6300 (a little more than what I paid for). What do you guys think?
