The Wonderful Rado Sintra Collection
High-tech ceramic is the nucleus fundamental material which makes Rado mark pioneer at the forefront of its competitors.Rado Sintra is the first quarter of full-ceramic with a complete ceramic bracelet and case, Sapphire is the only other visible material used in this watch. In addition, Rado Sintra is the first quarter of full-ceramic to introduce color of Platinum, gold, black, white, blue and pink. The Rado Sintra gold Paillette illustrates perfectly the control of the process of production of the Rado. Its rich ceramic hued and bracelets gold is accentuated with an eye popping bright dial, creating a piece of design that isboth dazzling and accurate. The most recent model, the Rado Sintra automatic skeleton is more technical. The clearly visible movement of skeleton certified COSC is customized for Rado, all in black. Stressing the part of the movement in steel or gold color gives the vitality of the previous day. AP 15400 + another AP Diver?
Recently acquired 15400 black dial (a week ago) ...and considering additional acquisition of AP Diver rubber strap (anytime soon)...Am I too AP-Maniac? Would they both be too similar? ( given same dial color and oh well, simple mechanic)... second thought told me to get the old Safari but my wrist is only 6.4Please help me decide... thank you!
New to me (incoming . . . )
I joined the cult of Omega (that just sounds cool). I've never been much of a Seamaster fan but I do like the look of the vintage models. I happened across one the other day in the FS section and bought it. It should be here Monday or Tuesday and I am very excited to see it up close. A few NATO straps are on the way as well. Here is the seller's pic of my new early 50's Seamaster Calendar (wrist pics to follow). The watch looks pretty clean, runs well and comes from a reputable seller so I'll hold off on a service for a while. Any info you have to share on these classics would be appreciated. Thanks!
Strap for 5711?
Is there a strap for the 5711? I'd like one as a change to the bracelet occasionally. If so, is it an easy swap?Cheers
My 4000th Post...
Couldn't think of anything clever to say so I thought I'd just post a picture of my watch...Cheers and Thank you..
