Tourbillon Boutique Opens on Wall Street
The Swatch Group’s multi-brand Tourbillon boutique is now open for business on Wall Street. Along with the Omega boutique on Fifth Avenue, this is the second upscale Swatch Group-owned retail location to open in New York City in April. The Wall Street location is the second U.S.A. Tourbillon boutique; the first is in Southern California’s South Coast Plaza. Tourbillon is a watch and jewelry boutique that brings the Swatch Group's prestige brands together under one roof. The brands currently presented in the Tourbillon boutiques are Breguet, Blancpain, Glashtte Original, Jaquet Droz, Lon Hatot and Omega. A selection of exclusive watches and jewelry from the parent company's namesake Swatch brand is also featured. In addition to the U.S.A. locations, there are five Tourbillon boutiques in Switzerland (Crans-Montana, Montreux, St. Moritz, Lausanne and Lugano). Rado Ceramica Chronograph Limited Edition Watch
Barely emerging of the case, pushers this signal shows functions and are perfectly integrated in the profile of this model. Standing: the Crown gold corresponding to each connection. As for the legendary ceramic, a new innovative development: mat aspect and exceptionally dense color, provide a striking contrast with the brightness of gold and the brillinace of the metallic black crystal. The packaging of this outstanding collection, also designed by Jasper Morrison, is made of black leather and has no visible seam. Simple and pure. The chemical symbol representing the alloy of gold of the model set out in the box: AuPd, Au2N, Au3N, Au4N, or Au5N, is stamped on the upper surface heat. Refinement of the corresponding tones, revealing more day after day - designed to meet the product it protects. The watch is placed in the area such as on a wrist.
AP Owners - Like your watch on a winder when it's not on your wrist?
Curious what the consensus is around here, or if there even is one. Do you let your APs run down when not on the wrist or keep them going on a winder? What's better in the end for service etc...
Decisions... Decisions...
So I, serendipitously, managed to get these two pieces today. The BLNR was the plan but the Blue Dial Royal Oak 15450 came up and I couldn't pass it up. Both BNIB.Now I can only keep one and, yes obviously, the RO is more expensive.I briefly owned a silver dial 15450 and while I really enjoyed it, I didn't LOVE it.I really though that the BLNR would be the one out of these two but the moment I opened the 15450 and saw that blue dial it was love at first sight. After some thinking, I made the decision to keep the BLNR (I've owned that watch 3 times now and keep coming back to it!) and packed up the 15450.But now, hours later, I still love the BLNR just as much as ever but I can't stop thinking about that blue dial...What do you guys think? In terms of long term ownership, value, wearability, robustness etc...? Would love to hear your thoughts!Help me TRF... you're my only hope!
