The Real Story Behind The Bremont Wright Flyer In-House Made BWC/01 "London" Watch Movement
A few days ago on July 23, 2014, Bremont admittedly botched the launch of what is an exciting new product for them - the Wright Flyer that watches-dealer covered here. What happened? Confused facts and efforts by who Bremont claims is a person with an agenda against the brand cast an unfortunate negative light on the release. In addition to the Bremont Wright Flyer being a limited edition timepiece done in collaboration with the Wright family (whose ancestors invented manned-flight in 1903), the Wright Flyer watch was to contain Bremont's first "in-house movement." Nothing about the Wright brothers or aviation relationship was at issue, but rather the details about the movement inside of the watch. Bremont not only left out necessary pricing information, but they also failed to mention crucial details about the origins and development partners of the the BWC/01 automatic movement that was signed "London."Bremont claims that someone was trying to sabotage the release. Historical Perspectives: And Now A Break From All Those New Watches, Courtesy Of Six Vintage Pateks
For the past four days, we've been inundating you with the latest, greatest, and most extreme brand new watches from the SIHH 2015 – one of two of the most important watch trade shows each year. We've shown you everything from new, ultra thin split seconds chronographs, to inexpensive annual calendars, to collaborations amongst masters, to simple, time-only revivals, to diamond-laden flying tourbillons hidden with golden flowers. But each and everyone one of them have one thing in common – they are brand new. So today we'd though we'd break the chain of newness with just a simple post featuring two pictures of six watches. There is no story here, nothing to report. Instead, we thought we'd just show you six great old Patek Philippes from their front up top, and their back down below. Just beautiful, aren't they? Do any of the modern pieces we've seen at SIHH 2015 compare? You tell us.We'll be back with regularly scheduled SIHH 2015 programmin

Vegas / Rolex
I'm in Vegas for vacation and it was recommended to me to stop by the boutique at the Wynn which was great! I then checked out the one at the Bellagio, which was also great..However the reason for my post is that there seems to be 2 dealers inside Ceasers palace? When I checked the rolex website, they were not listed as AD's? One was tourneau. My mom was looking at a ladies 28mm, it seemed to have severe stretch (at least I thought so). They were selling it as new, as a note. Just curious on others thoughts on this.
