SIHH: Lange’s New Saxonia Annual Calendar
At SIHH today Lange unveiled their new automatic winding Saxonia Annual Calendar. Available in white gold and in pink gold, the diameter is a modest 38.5mm, but the design focus was legibility and the watch is quite easy to read. The look is pure Lange and this piece offers much of the visual appeal of its perpetual calendar big brother. The movement features the famous Sax-O-Mat zero reset function which stops the movement when the crown is pulled out and resets the seconds hand to zero to allow easy syncronization with a reference time signal. The moon phase is accurate to within 1 day in 122 years.
