Hublot has long been known for its bold use of non-conventional materials and combinations of materials in its watch cases; several years ago, the brand even created its own scratch-resistant “Magic Gold” alloy that it has since used in several watch models. This year, Hublot makes horological history with the first large-scale series of watches with cases cut from pure sapphire blocks.Up until now, only a few one-of-a-kind pieces or extremely limited series of watches �� Richard Mille’s RM 56-02 and Hublot’s own MP05 LaFerrari Sapphire among them �� have been available commercially with pure sapphire cases. Adding to Basel's WW1 collection, we caught wind of a new heritage inspired piece from Bell & Ross.? 15202 sizing
I have an offshore on hornback that I keep considering trading to something less substantial like an aquanaut or 15202. My wrist is on the smaller side, but the hornback works ok since it is flexible. I tried on the 15202 and despite it being much smaller, fit more awkwardly due to the stiff bracelet. It doesn't really hug the wrist but kind of sits raised if that makes any sense. Obviously could not size it to try it on properly, but does the 15202 actually need a thicker wrist to wear due to the bracelet than the offshore?

My new favorite..
Just thought I would share with fellow 'Patekoholics' my latest acquisition.. The 5905 in blue. It's surprisingly versatile as you can see in the photo, and I'm really warming up to the clean, modern dial. The 5960 will always hold a special place in my heart since it was my first Patek. However, the blue sunburst dial, along with the 42mm size makes this piece a keeper and difficult to take off the wrist! IMHO, Patek did a great job with this one. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

Date Just In Time
This may be a stupid question but,Do all Rolex watche's date function switch quickly at midnight or is that just on the datejust models?
