It is often said that if you want an accurate watch, you are better off with a quartz piece. While that might certainly be true, does that mean that timekeeping performance in mechanical watches is unimportant? Remember, many watch brands like to advertise their watches as being capable timekeepers. So why is it so hard to find information on how accurate your watch is supposed to be? We attempt to shed some light on this situation.Moving on, we are turning our attention to a modern day icon and what is surely one of the world's most popular chronographs, the Rolex Daytona. If you were to look at the Daytona for what it is today, it would be unthinkable to find that Rolex struggled to sell them in the watch's early days. That's right, Rolex Daytona watches were unloved and practically worthless during their earliest days. Oh how the tables have turned, and vintage Daytonas are now fetching eye-watering prices at auctions. Join us as we look back on the history of the iconic Rolex Dayto
Issues logging into AP account
I can't seem to log in to my AP account. I had registered my watch but wanted to make sure it had 5 years and not just the 3 years. Now it's saying the credentials don't match their records. Anybody else have this problem?thanks
26320/26331 owners, do you have the same date / Chrono issues?
The next date for the next day will peek out slightly around the 11+pm region. Is this normal for you? Also any of you face problems with the hour counter not moving with the chronograph? How Long is your power reserve? Can't seem to post a photo, link below!i66 dot tinypic dot com / 4zssvo dot jpg
In search of Ceramic Diver (orange)
I have a 15305OR I wear to work quite often and need a sports watch with durability. Therefore, I want a watch with either ceramic or forged carbon material. I have a smaller wrist, and a 44mm is just way too big. The 42 mm is even slightly pushing it. I've been thinking a while about and have decided upon the Ceramic diver with orange accents. It seems these are much harder to find than its counterpart with yellow accents - why is that? I saw a used yellow one for sale around $17k. It seems most others sell just under MSRP even though used....wondering what's a good price range?Since it's a discontinued model, anyone have any leads? Sent from my Zeitwerk
Why does Rolex not put the new GMT movement in all the new GMT models?
What on earth are they thinking? Both the new blue dial WG model and green dial YG model are listed as having the older 3186 movement.
