Halios Delfin PVD Review
Halios watches probably needs little introduction on worn&wound. Over the last few years, the Vancouver based dive watch brand has earned a reputation for making great, unique watches. We previously reviewed two versions of their Tropik watches, one in bronze and the other in steel, both of which earned high regards from us. Stylish, restrained, well built, well priced they were hard not to like.Last October, Jason, the founder of Halios, brought his wares down from Canada to show at our Wind-Up: NYC event. He had on display samples of all of his watches, from the coveted 1000M Puck to his newest at the time and the topic of this review, the Delfin. It was love at first sight. Dial damaged during service
Hi!I'm looking for some support and advice in an unpleasant situation. The situation is that I sent my Speedmaster -96 with impeccable tritium dial, not a single scuff on the dial, in for service. Now that I'm about to get the watch back from the service it turns out the watchmaker has not been using a dial protector when removing the hands (he claims that this was due to the hands being pressed to far down by the previous watchmaker for the protector to fit). However, this caused him to damage my dial (and chipping some paint off of the hands) when removing the hands. Now the watchmaker claims that it's not his fault that the dial got damaged etc and blames the previous watchmaker for pressing the hands too far down. The scuffs are not really that noticeable to the naked eye but it's no doubt that my previously 100% perfect original dial is now damaged and will be so. I can understand if I'm being a bit picky but this watch is my most precious belonging.Has anyone experienced anything l

I really enjoy this watch...btw..how long (in years) does the Lumine stay? Does the luminiscent material degrade substantially over 3 years? 10?
