Pics of a SeaWolf and DSSD together?
Thinking of picking up an Avenger II SeaWolf soon and was wondering if anyone owned it and the DSSD? I'll have to make it into an AD soon but figured I'd ask the forum if anyone had any comparo pics. Thanks!
Looking to Buy First Breitling - Which Navitimer 01 or GMT
I am looking to purchase my first Breitling, i am interested in the Navitimer GMT or 01 - Looking at 46mm or 48mm versions in a steel bracelet.I like the Black Dial and Blue Dial Versions - Looking for suggestions, tips and user feedback.... they both look gorgeous. Also looking for a good discount on these, I am based in the Bay Area, can buy here or from the UK.So far only really found Watchmaxx who give 30-35% off and also Jomashop. Not sure if I get the full warranty.Looking for an AD so that I can get a 5 year warranty if possible
AD margins slashed
As of January 2012, Omega has lowered AD margins by 5% on regular production goods. This will trickle down to the used market within 3-6 months, so if you have a used one you're eyeing, do not take too long to close the deal, as they will be more expensive going forward..
Incoming: Platinum Cloisonn enamel World Time
Sorry guys - not a 5131P. Wrong Forum but couldn’t resist a little tease with the title! While I wait patiently for my 5131P (which to be honest I don’t expect to receive due to already owning my much loved 5131R) I’ve had to scratch the itch for a Platinum World Time with a Cloisonn enamel dial. So here we have my Platinum Cloisonn enamel Tellurium by Ulysse Nardin - part of ‘The Trilogy of Time’ collection. The piece boasts a wonderful array of complications:World TimePerpetualMoon PhaseReal time view of the position of the moon relative to the Earth and SunSunrise and Sunset indicationSolar and Lunar eclipse indicationReal time view of the areas of the earth experiencing daylight and night timeAs per 5131P the Earth is viewed from above the North Pole.https://.rolexforums/showthread.php?t=563071
Should I buy Sub red 1978?
I have the opportunity to buy my friends submariner red text. The only issue is it has no original papers. It's well looked after and is stunning and wants a fair/ cheap price for it. I have the serial number, can I check the validity of it and should I buy it? I'm worried with no paperwork about it being just an older rolex with a replacement dial?
