Hands-On: With The Blancpain Villeret Tourbillon Squelette 8-Day In Platinum (PLUS: You're Invited To Celebrate Blancpain's New Boutique With Us!)
While perusing the wares of the brand new Blancpain boutique on Fifth Avenue a few weeks back, I stumbled across this guy here. It's called the VIlleret Tourbillon Squelette 8-Day, and while it was announced at BaselWorld 2014, there wasn't a lot of attention given to it C most was offered to the awesome new in-house chronograph movement seen in the Bathyscaphe Chronograph. But this new tourbillon has a lot going for it. 2 OF 3 First, it employs Blancpain's excellent in-house 8-day self-winding tourbillon caliber 25, which is quite thin at 4.85mm in thickness. That's not only thin for a tourbillon, it's also very thin for a tourbillon with an 8-day power reserve. Second, the case is an absolutely perfect 37.5mm in diameter. Rubber Clad Back From Clearwater Today With Black Datewheel
Just got my G rubber clad back from a full spa treatment and had them replace the datewheel with the black wheel. Amazed at AP Clearwaters level of service and they beat there estimate by a month!
New member here, nice to meet everyone!
Been lurking for a bit and saw some amazing collections, as well as familiar faces from Purists. Already feel at home!
Milgauss daily beater
I would love to hear who uses a (blue dial) Milgauss as a daily beater for more than a year. Preferibly guys with smaller wrists (I have 6 1/4 inch). Do you still like it? Is the dial still as spectacular to look at as in the beginning? Do you feel comfortable wearing it with short sleeves? Pictures please? Is the thickness of the case an issue for you?
Question for Deep Blue owners...
Im just curious...For those of you who own the JC version of the DeepSea, would you have ever considered the original Black Dial version...Or was the JC the only one you would one...
