What I thought modern Rolex is missing
I am smitten by my moonwatch and IWC 3251 lately, and got no wrist time with my Rolex watches.Why is that?It's because I am amazed by the dome crystal. The way how it distorts the dial, adding a 3 dimensional appeal the watch, I cannot stop staring at it.The curved surface is sexy!Especially apparent when my hands were on the steering wheel, a tilt of the wrist to glance at it made me smile.Isn't it wonderful to have a varied collection?!I dream of the vintage subs with dome plexi, the tritium indices are sweet like lollipops.If Rolex will make a new dome crystal model, I'll be all over it like pigs in ****

Which speed master to get?
Hi allI'm considering getting a speed masterI have a Rolex currently which I will keep and have been eyeing up the speed master for some time now. I like the clear caseback and the whole idea and history of the moon watch holds appeal also. The traditional simple iconic look I think is great. I'm open to used. Any thoughts as to which model I should be steering towards? In some ways I don't want to go with the new models due to the subtle changes that have gone on over time. DJ41 on leather???
Anyone out there with pics of the DJ41 on a leather strap? I've narrowed down the dial to either the rhodium or silver to add a lighter colored dial to my otherwise all black dual collection. Love the jubilee bracelet but feel like fluted bezel and jubilee combo is a little on the dressy and blingy side. But fluted and leather combo I think would tone it down a bit. Side note, I actually like the look of the smooth bezel and jubilee combo but feel like the smooth bezel with a strap could be a little bland. So if I were to exclusively keep it on jubilee, I think I would go with the smooth bezel.Anyway, hope there are folks out there that have done this mod and provide me with inspiration.
