I need some opinions from the Omega experts. What would a Omega GMT 2534.50.00 in 90% condition on bracelet roughly be worth? Thanks.Chris
It keeps growing on me...5167a
I've been a diehard Daytona guy for over 20 years and still love them. I have every Daytona I've ever purchased (always new from an AD) save for a yellow gold / croc strap which I traded out of last fall. I got the itch/bug or impulse to finally step up to an Audemars after eyeing them in Europe (never have seen an American wearing an Audemars here or there) and when I first started wearing the 41mm Chrono last fall, it wore REALLY big and all the shiny bits only made it seem bigger. It is very comfortable and I LOVE the look of it. The blue face on mine, REALLY sets it off and that is what seems to catch some people's eye. I got another very special Audemars while I was still weak and still in love. Now, carrying the watch bug in me, I started looking at the PP and found 5167a from an AD in FL and scooped it up straight away. Man, it wears SMALL compared tot he 41mm Chrono! It's very light, thin and so practical, especially with the rubber band, it's now my EVERYDAY wear (I don't wor
should i keep it?
have just bought a 2 month old 5711 with blue dial.i love the dial and design and everything.only things is...i hate the clasping system! it's so hard to remove and it feels so delicate and i feel as if i might break it everytime.and another thing... i've never spent so much on a steel watch, now i feel scared to wear it in case it gets scratched...i also find it a bit thin and delicate. fyi i also have a ROO and submariner which are huge in comparison to this.now i'm having thoughts of selling it and getting something else.can anyone share their opinions with me?
Another question on patek
i dont know if there are any patek experts here (like there are for pam and rolex) but i have a question about a patek 5146 the web site shows the movement to be a 315, but i have read that at some point they changed to a silicon wheel 315, then to a 324. no date on the change, and like i noted above, the patek web site still shows the 315 movement (in the pictures). any clue as to what they did and when? just want to know what to expect at the dealers (and how old their stock is depending on what movement/when the changes went into effect). thanks, mark
