EMILE CHOURIET Classic Wisdom
Emile Chouriet C Classic WisdomAs the great Greek philosopher Socrates (470BC-399BC) said: "wisdom begins in wonder." There's wonder in everything around us that gives us joy. Love, nature and life are rife with wonder. Is there anything more amazing than wisdom and wonder?Emile Chouriet has put its almost magical values into its Classic Wisdom. A wavy line splits the anthracite grey dial in two making it look like two open wings. The line divides the dial into a classic, smooth and shiny sunburst side and a matt, textured and "raw" side. It's a sandy beach lapping a pebble beach dotted with time markers beneath the hands. The 40mm steel watch's self-winding calibre brings to life the hours, minutes, seconds and date. From 1000 CHFBy Sharmila Bertinemile-chouriet.ch
Anstead OCEANIS
The abundance of watch projects on Kickstarter is old news. The internet's most popular crowd funding website is jam packed with a vast array of watch and watch related projects, most notable of which is the Pebble digital "watch" with its E-Ink display and ability to pair with the Apple iPhone. Or more aptly put, watch projects that actual watch geeks can get behind. That's why we are really excited to see the Anstead Watches OCEANIS project thriving on the Kickstarter platform.Anstead Watches was founded by Tom Anstead, a Navy Veteran and a man with a clear passion for watches that are to be owned, worn and enjoyed by everyone. He makes it very clear on his Kickstarter page that his company was bred out of this passion and a desire to bring a well designed yet affordable watch to the m
2nd AP - 26400
Hi all, long time TZ'er, not so long over here. Just picked up my 2nd AP. First was a Safari which I ended up trading . . . . Second is this very nice pre owned 44mm. I will say I like it better than the Safari. The 44mm is nice, the ceramic bezel is spectacular and the display back is much better to look at. I do miss a bit all the 42mm band choices on the safari.Take carejim
