New from Baselworld 2014: Hublot Classic Fusion Tourbillon Skull
Hublot, the watch brand known for its “fusion” of materials, unveils another new case material �� and some very eye-catching design elements in the movement�� with its Hublot Classic Fusion Tourbillon Skull, the latest in its series of “skull” watches, introduced at the recent Baselworld 2014 watch fair.The material that Hublot uses for the case, bezel and crown of the Classic Fusion Tourbillon Skull is a type of ceramic-coated aluminum that is created through a treatment called MAO (Microarc Oxidation). The process involves surface conversion via plasma discharge in an electrolyte bath, forming a surface that is hard, dense and adhesive. The material’s micro-blasted finish, which gives this watch’s cases their distressed look, comes from manual sanding, ensuring that each case has a unique finish. The material (which Hublot has referred to as “ceramized aluminum”) has a hardness rating of around 1,000 Vickers, is highly resistant to corros

I honesty had NO intention on buying a watch but this presented itself and I showed no willpower. I got a SS bracelet and a Snoopy strap as well so this watch will have four different looks (actually 3 for me I dislike Natos). Absolutely thrilled with it!!!! Speedmaster Pro Sapphire Vs Hesalite / 3573.50 Vs 3570.50
Guys,Thinking about buying a speedmaster pro, looking for something as faithful to the moon watch ideal as possible but concerned about the frustration of constantly polishing hesalite, so I am leening towards the 3573.50 (also because of the lovely exhibition back).HOWEVER, one thing troubles me, the thing that really sold the 3570.50 to me was its beautiful domed hesalite, does the sapphire version have the same profile?
