Garmin Forerunner 405 GPS Watch Finally Gets It Right
Garmin, maker of one of the best products coming out of America (design only, units are made abroad; sorry the US just isn't making too much good stuff these days), has attempted to make a few GPS watches in the past. The idea was pretty well taken; use GPS location technology to calculate things like running speed, distance traveled, etcCombine that with a heart rate monitor, and you have a great activity watch. The problem was that early models, such as the Garmin Forerunner 201 suffered from being impractical, too large, and god-awful ugly.Recently Engadget covered the upcoming release of the new Garmin Forerunner 405 GPS watch, that finally takes the Forerunner line of watches into something you might consider wearing outside the solitude nature. Looks are a combination of Suunto, Casio, and a little bit of Polar. Will the stiff 15202 bracelet rest on wrists after removing links?(small wrists)
Looking to see from guys whose wrists are on the smaller side that own a jumbo. We all know how stiff the bracelet is, and I have 6 wrists. The AP representative is pretty confident that after links are removed the watch will rest very nicely as the 39mm size is perfect for smaller wrists, however I don't want to buy it only to then see that it's the wrong fit.Ofcourse I can't ask him to remove the links prior to purchase.I wear a rolex sub and love the way it looks on my wrists. The 37mm 15450 is too small for my taste, and also dressier.Would like to see from guys who own the 15202.Thank you guys

Speedy Pro Ref. 3570 Best-fit Rate
I'm just curious, since this is my first Manual Wind piece, is +13.6s/day normal for a Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch Ref. 3570.50.00? Ever since, I've noticed that this piece has been running quite fast, compared to my Rolex pieces, both within COSC standards.
Quartz or auto for first Omega?
I have long wanted a high quality Swiss watch. I have never had an automatic before. But I have been thinking if I do step up to an Omega. Should I go ahead and get what would be my first auto, or stick with a quartz. What do you all suggest?
