Hublot Big Bang Unico And Hublot Big Bang Tourbillon 5-day Power Reserve Indicator Full Magic Gold Watches
I'm a sucker for a new material. When I was a younger watchmaker and far wetter behind the ears, I stuck hard-and-fast to the principles of old, believing science to be cheating, witchcraft, magicWell, it turns out I was right. The Hublot Big Bang Unico Full Magic Gold and Hublot Big Bang Tourbillon 5-day Power reserve Indicator Full Magic Gold are the latest of the Nyon-based manufacturer's products to utilize this novel material that really has to be seen (and felt) to be believed.Full disclosure: There is no actual magic in this watch. If you buy one, do not expect it to grant you wishes, make your brooms dance, or inspire that girl/guy you've been ogling for the past few months to introduce themselves. What it might do, however, is give you a little more wrist-confidence when you finally decide to make the first move (nothing ventured, nothing gained). You may be enthralled by Magic Gold's dulled hue, or you might simply find it dull. Whatever your final opinion of its aesthetics,
Tried on a Speedmaster Pro tonight....
And I'm hooked. I loved it. Felt very solid and very high quality, and I hate to say it, but it felt much better than my Submariner. The movement was gorgeous. Without even asking I was offered a 25% on it and nearly every other watch there. I however can not find the exact reference # she wrote on the card on the internet. The reference # she gave me is 31130404230130. Had a matte black dial that was almost slightly brown with white hands. Tried on a cream dialed one with black subdials also and it didnt do anything for me. The offer was 25% off if paying with cash and 23% off if paying with credit or debit. Since I dont have that much cash laying around, I had her do an estimate for me using a credit card. They were selling it for $5500, after 23% off it came to $4235, add taxes and the grand total was $4785.55 cdn. Think its a good deal? They had an Alaska project for $5900, but I dont believe there was a discount due to it being a limited edition.I'm very tempted...Lo

First day in the office, I really love this piece, what do you think ?
HELP - Panerai PAM 235 (white gold) vs. 497 (yellow gold)
Ok, so I'm going to buy one of these today....assume the 497 is slightly more expensive. Do I go the yellow gold and a bit more formal (is the dial too crowded, but it looks so nice!) or the white gold and a bit more simple...?I keep going back and forth.I can wear the 235 a bit more daily without it attracting too much attention (most won't know its gold) , but will I regret not sacking up and getting the yellow gold that will look incredible with a suit at events...Any advice? Anyone make this type of decision and have regrets?
My new 338
Got it last week from RUpanerai. I had sold all of my Pam's. Just too big for me, IMO. Here is a 42mm Radiomir. I don't think it looks small at all. The pic doesn't show it well, but the gold hands are stunning. It's on a Metta strap from Micah that I loved more than the watch it was usually on....L
