First AP for the wifey need suggestion
Hello all, want to add my wife's collection with an AP lady offshore so that I can get away with more purchases this year. She wears her watch daily and a little on the rough side (I hate it when she hits her watch to the underside of a table but she does this relatively often). I am wondering how well either of these will go with a few knocks here and there. Will the fc ceramic combination be a more lasting choice or a more fragile ones? She usually does not bang her watch hard but sometimes it happens. Thanks in advance.
New AT Black on Black
When they came out I knew I’d love them. But some of the color schemes are not for me. When I saw this, I knew I had to have it. I tried on a different one (different colors) loved the size, paid for this and waited a few weeks. Picked it up yesterday.
New Omega Opinions
I have been pondering buying an Omega watch for several months. Since my vintage Connie ended up being a franken watch, I have not had an Omega in my collection.Last year I had the Speedy Broad Arrow in my sights, but ended up buying my Longines Master Series instead. So now I am looking to purchase. I am not sure which one to get. I like the Planet Ocean, but want the 2900.50.37, which is the large black bezel on the brown alligator strap. My question is this, since I do not dive, would I be better off looking for a dressier model? Also do most here have the SMP on the bracelet? The SMP is the watch I keep looking at on line. Still I have never tried one on and am not sure how the 45mm will wear on my wrist compaired to the 42mm. I don't know why I am drawn to it, except I do want my next watch to be some what sporty and have always wanted another Omega.Another one I have been thinking about is a Speedy, just for the history of the watch. The Broad Arrow is out of my budget, so it wou
5960p black vs 5980 Rose leather strap
Hi guys. 2014 is coming to an end and I am itching for a new patek. Taking money out of the equation what would you choose and why? 5960p vs 5980 rose leather strap. Those pictures by Ken do more harm than good... to my wallet.
Removing the SubC Oyster Bracelet
I have a question about removing the oyster bracelet on my SubC. Specifically it has to do with the glidelock clasp. I already have the Bergeron 7825 tweezer tool, so removing the endlinks is easy. But I'd like to separate the bracelet at the clasp into 2pieces before removing the endlinks WITHOUT unscrewing a link. On my Explorer with easy link I could do this by removing the micro adjustment springbar inside the clasp. I can't tell if I can do the same thing on the glidelock though. Does the glidelock come apart easily?Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
