Ball and BMW Team Up For New Watch Collection
Ball Watch Company, whose history is rooted in the early days of train travel, has taken its watchmaking talents from the rails to the roads, collaborating with German luxury automaker BMW to introduce a new line of watches, called Ball for BMW. The Ball for BMW collection, whose development has been headed up by noted BMW designer Magali Metrailler, is heavily influenced by the aerodynamic lines and ergonomic details of BMW cars and their engines. The line is composed thus far of the Classic, a three-hand model with date; the GMT, with second time zone; and a Power Reserve model. All the watches have automatic ETA movements that have been certified as chronometers by COSC.The watches feature alternating polished and satin-finished surfaces and screw-down crowns that evoke the detailing on BMW dashboard knobs. Question about crown on Diver
So I noticed today that the rubber insert on the crown is a hexagon. If at the right angle, the top and bottom (if you look at the case from the side) of the hexagon can clear the crown protectors perfectly. If you turn the crown 45 degree more, then the pointy parts of the hexagon are kind of squeezed by the crown protector (even though I see that they added some clearance for this). Do you guys turn the crown until it is flat on both sides of the crown protector or let the pointy part of the rubber insert squeeze against the crown protector?

As I recently purchased the SD43, I'm getting ready to put the YM2 away for a bit while I wear my new toy so I wanted to get the bracelet cleaned properly before boxing it.As it was spur of the moment, I forgot my warrantee card at home. On other occasions that I have gone over to Rolex Canada, I've always prepared by bringing the card along with me.I called from work first before going to see if they could squeeze me in. No problem was the answer. Come on in! So I went in during my lunch hour. It's been about 3 years since I last visited Rolex Canada and let me say, things change every time I go. My very first visit to Rolex Canada back in 2007, I just walked through their unlocked front door to an elevator and went up to the 2nd floor. The next time I went to RC in 2012, they knocked one of the walls down in the main lobby and put in a se
