Seiko has launched a new website dedicated to Ananta. Introduced at Basel 2009 and available internationally, Ananta is a new Elite Collection using both Spring Drive and high-grade mechanical movements. The new website offers striking visuals with in-depth information about the Ananta line’s history, development, key features, and current models. For example, the Inspiration section explains the history of Japanese swordmaking and how this art form has been incorporated into the Ananta line. Thinking of going with some gold. Would love to hear opinion from the forum. I have a 7.5 wrist and usually love the 42mm ROO (I understand the love the 44mm ROO gets here and while its a great piece, its not for me).I would do the 26470or on strap or the 26320or on bracelet with a black face. Opinions are welcome...Fire Away !

Patek vs. Lange
Not my intention to get folks riled up over this, just hoping we can have a nice objective chat. Of course I'm well aware of Patek's history and why people love them, but I'm also aware of Lange's existence and can't help but wonder why someone might chose a Patek over a Lange. I'm hoping you more experienced folks can help me understand. A Patek will likely always win out insofar as bragging rights go with the general public, no doubt. It's got much broader recognition, while Lange will only really be recognized by true horology buffs, but is brand recognition the only reason to buy a wawtch? To me, Lange's, while cheaper (relative to the comparable Patek), seem to feature finishes and movements which are just on another level. But I aspire to own both and am not bashing Patek in any way, just trying to understand each brands place, especially when they offer several similar offerings.

Flip SubC Date for 50th Anniversary Sea-Dweller...would you?
Hi all, I have a SubC Date that was my first Rolex (and gifted to me), now sitting around unworn for quite a while. My other two watches are a Hulk and a Batman, which I rotate. I'm more and more considering selling the Sub and getting a 50th Anniversary Sea-Dweller, cause it is similar to the Sub, but yet very different. With these thoughts, and a price difference of $5k, give or take, would you do it?Thanks!
