5980R thoughts
Evening,I am currently an owner of a 5205R-010, but have decided to try and find something a little more sporty in style so that it suits my dress style a bit better and so I should get even more usage out of it.This led me to consider a number of watches, but today I viewed a 5980R on leather strap. I was extremely impressed by this watch in terms of wrist presence and the beauty of the proportions, dial and rose gold. I do love the full gold bracelet model, but it is too flashy for me to use frequently and I still have my girls' tuition fees to pay ha! As such I am certainly interested in moving forward with the 5980R on leather strap, albeit viewing a platinum Daytona tomorrow, but thought I should put it to the experts here as to some thoughts on the watch. What are thoughts of the PP chronograph, of the Rose Gold design and strap integration? Anything previous owners have gotten sick of or current owners remain in love with this reference?

Anyway fast forward to 2016 the Breitling went and was flipped for a used Rolex Explorer 2 Black dial followed by the IWC for the big hitter AP Royal Oak 15400, which is my most high end and least used watch for some reason, can work that one out. Then in 2017 March I want the BLNR, in the uk a little difficult to source, Added myself to the local AD list, waited a month then add myself to a list in Wilmslow on the Friday and less than 24hrs had the call .. still can work out what happened maybe put me at the top of the list in error, anyway the BLNR was in my collection.Roll on summer and the Sub mariner no date looked so perfect and still my most worn watch by a long way, not sure what it is with that one bu
