Giulio Papi Explains The New Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Laptimer Michael Schumacher Limited E
We took our first look at this watch just last May, when Audemars Piguet announced it – and we said it then and we’ll say it now, we think Audemars Piguet deserves a great deal of credit for sticking with their association with Michael Schumacher, who despite his ongoing struggle with the catastrophic injury he suffered in 2013, remains, and will always remain, one of the greatest (if not the greatest) figures in the history of motorsports. As we also said then, the Laptimer Michael Schumacher is a phenomenal technical achievement, and to help us all understand it a little bit better, we were lucky enough to be able to get a full description of the watch from none other than Giulio Papi, of Audemars Piguet Renaud & Papi, the well-known, ultra-sophisticated horological think tank that’s given us some of the most interesting watches in the world – as well as some of the most interesting watchmakers (alums include Carole Forestier-Kasapi, the brilliantly prolifi
Problems with my new Speedy Pro
Hi Folks, I'm new to the forum and a new WIS so I figured I could ask you guys for advice. I purchased my first nice watch a little over 1 month ago as a present to myself for turning 40 and it was an Omega Speedmaster Pro. Up until a few days ago I've been thrilled with the watch...it keeps time to perfection and I have not been able to notice it losing or gaining even 1 second per day. This happens not only with the large second hand but also with the small minute counter on the right side of the dial. Sometimes they reset at the 1'clock position, sometimes the 11'oclock position...but never at 12'oclock where they are supposed to. I'm quite frustrated over this. I splurged on this watch and bought it brand new (I know I'm probably a

Any 5170G-010 owners on TRF?
Sold my white 5170G over a year ago and never looked back. Now it seems the new black dial (still wish it was enamel) is becoming more available on c24 globally and a few AD's have them single sealed. Anyone own one? Curious how it is in the metal.
