A pleasant visit to AP Singapore boutique
As I was running some errands in Orchard Road yesterday, I decided to drop by the AP boutique which was just a stone-throw away to check out if the new 2012 catalogue is available. I was greeted by Iylia and Theresa, and much to my delight, the new catalogues were there filling up the shelf just beside the entrance, and there was also a copy of the Royal Oak 40th anniversary hardback book! Before I even asked if I could have the copy of catalogue taken from the shelf, Iylia offered to get me a new copy and he proceeded to the back room to retrieve it. Meanwhile, I happily checked out the Royal Oak book and was told by Theresa that there is currently a waiting list and needless to say, I quickly added my name in the list! After a while, Iylia came back with a nice paper bag and I almost thought that there was an ROO inside! Fat-hope! Play That Funky Music
Some days I just feel like playin that funky music. Anyone else up for some LED funkiness?
Question about Patek 5980
Hey guys,I stopped by my AD today and I was playing with the 5980R. I noticed that when I start the chrono, the minute hand of the chrono subdial moves slowly towards the one minute mark before the center seconds hand reach 12 o clock. Is this normal? Thanks.
Thoughts on 18K Yellow Gold Calatrava 3802/200
Hey guys,I have a few SS Rolex and wanted to add a dressier watch on a strap. A nice 3802 with box and archive papers is being sold locally for $8,250. I still have to try it on but at 33mm it sounds small, but it may work for my 6.5 wrist. Is this a desirable piece and is the price good? I'm really digging the classic look and roman dial. It was serviced 5 years ago.Any and all inputs would be appreciated. Attached pic is borrowed from the net. Thanks in advance!
Just got the Call from my Rolex Dealership
I've been invited to a Rolex Event at the dealership from where i buy my watches from. They'll have the Rolex models that were introduced at Basel 2018.I could probably get on the list and score me the GMT II FAST!!!!!!
